Winnebago has long been as established brand of motorhomes in Australia. For many, the name is synonymous with the American RV brand – and the beneficial impact this has had on the Australian company cannot be underestimated. However, the Aussie operation has little to do with the American company, except the same name and logo. Turns out that the American company didn't register the trademarks here early enough, and were snapped up by a local company. Relations between the two companies have been tense for some time. 

Australian Winnebago have now rebranded as "Avida RV", to distinguish themselves from the American company.
