The Thule Omnistor awning range is a European style awning like a Fiamma awning. It is all contained within a single cassette mounted high on the side of a van. You insert the crank handle and wind out the awning, which is self supporting. You then pull out the legs and either attach them to small brackets on the lower part of the van, or peg them out on the ground.
